Individuals Document Checklist
- Identification: A clear copy of your Green Barcoded ID or Smart ID Card (both sides).
Proof of Residence: A utility bill or bank statement (not older than 3 months) showing your physical address.
Income Tax: Document showing your personal SARS income tax number.
Marriage Documents: If applicable, a copy of your Marriage Certificate and/or Antenuptial Contract (ANC).
Business Entities / Companies
Registration: CIPC registration documents (COR14.3 / CK1).
Address: Proof of business address (not older than 3 months).
Tax: SARS document showing the Company Income Tax and VAT numbers.
Authorized Persons: Copies of IDs and Proof of Residence for all directors/members and any individual holding 25% or more voting rights.
Resolution: A signed Company Resolution authorizing the property transaction.
Trusts Required Documents
- Trust Deed: A copy of the registered Trust Deed.
- Letters of Authority: Issued by the Master of the High Court.
- Tax: SARS document showing the Trust’s tax number.
- Trustees & Beneficiaries: Copies of IDs and Proof of Residence for all Trustees and named Beneficiaries.
- Resolution: A signed Trustee Resolution authorizing the property purchase or sale.
